Producer Ekta Kapoor is a compliment for the Ayushmann Khurrana National Award-winning actor, who is the lead actor in his upcoming romantic comedy production, Dream Girl.
Dream Girl is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films of the year. Starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Arbaaz Khan and Nushrat Bharucha, the romantic comedy drama is scheduled to hit theaters on September 13. Ayushmann shared the first aspect of the film and it was enough to create a stir in the audience. On the poster announcing the beginning of filming, the actor can be seen wearing a yellow sari with a “ghungat” on his head and sitting on a scooter.
While Ayushmann admitted that it was not easy to speak with a female voice, he also shared that his experience of working on the radio, where he had done voice modulation, helped him film the film.
The launch of the movie trailer is today and the manufacturers have maintained an interaction with the media for it. During the conversation, producer Ekta Kapoor shared: “Ayushmann was not the girl of my dreams. I wanted an actor who could do justice to the script. Ruchika and I argued and I was sure that Ayushmann is committed to the script, so it must be strong. “Then he added:” It takes a very talented man to play a woman on the screen. ”
In the film, co-produced by Ekta’s Balaji Motion Pictures, Ayushmann rehearses a man who can speak with a female voice and his actions have hilarious consequences.
According to the rumor, Ayushmann, winner of the National Prize, will be seen playing the role of a man who finds work in a female friendly call center and is the only male employee there. In a recent interview, the actor shared how he had to copy 25% of his dialogues in a female voice. Dream Girl is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and co-produced by Ekta and Shobha Kapoor under their banner Balaji Motion Pictures.
The actor also shared what he feels for women.
“They are more compassionate as a gender and calmer. I feel they are more attached, although I don’t believe in generalization. I think men and women are equal in everything in life,” he said.
