Linda Porter, best known for her role as an employee of a major Myrtle supermarket in the American comedy Superstore, died at the age of 86.
His representatives shared the news of his death, reports variety.com.
Porter, who also appeared in “Twin Peaks: The Return,” “Mercy,” “American Horror Story,” “The Suite Life on Deck,” “Gilmore Girls,” and other series that date back to the late 1980s, He recently played Myrtle in “Superstore.”
She appeared in 35 episodes as a store clerk in the comedy show.
Executive producers of “Superstore” Jonathan Green and Gabe Miller mourned the loss.
“Linda was not only funny, she was incredibly sweet, energetic and enthusiastic; working with her brightened everyone’s day. We are fortunate to have been a small part of her long career. The ‘Superstore’ family will not be the same without her.” they said.
“Superstore” actor Ben Feldman also shared his condolences.
“We hope that angels do not call the court immediately because your best things have always come to an end. We will miss you, Linda Porter,” he wrote on Twitter and Instagram.
His “Superstore” colleagues, including actors Mark McKinney and Danny Gura, writer Vanessa Ramos and consulting producer Owen Ellickson, also offered tributes to the actress.
“Thanks for the advice of life,” McKinney wrote.
“We lost a good one,” Gura tweeted, adding: “R.I.P. Linda Porter, who always smiled and always made the Superstore set happy. This is a difficult question. We will miss you.”
Ramos wrote: “RIP Linda Porter. A true delight for a person who was willing to do everything.”
Ellickson also shared: “RIP Linda Porter, a wonderful actress and a lovely person.”
